Student Competition

Every February, we host a Student Art Show for Paulding county residents under age 18 in 7 different age categories. Students may enter one entry with a $2 entry fee. A judge from out of the county with an art background is chosen each year. Each student receives a certificate and award money is given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each category. The public is invited to attend the Awards Ceremony Reception and the artwork is on display for the month of February. All are considered winners in our eyes for entering and it gives them good experience to see what it is like to have their artwork on display at a real Art Gallery. The 2011 Student Art Show drew 188 entrants - our largest participation ever!

2012 Student Competition Dates:
Saturday, February 4, 2012 - Drop off Student Artwork - 9 - 12
Sunday, February 5, 2012 - Student Competition Reception - 2 - 4 pm
Saturday, March 3, 2012 - Student Competition Pick-up - 10 am - 1pm
