Peggy Cline

I have a BFA Art degree in fabric design from the University of Georgia and an Art Education degree from Georgia State University. In the 1980s, I worked in advertising and graphic design working on Delta Air Lines, Alamo Rent-A-Car and other client's advertising. I decided to switch careers after having two children. Since 1990, I have taught art in the Fayette, Cobb and Paulding county public schools, ASP program in Paulding and Cobb, Home School groups, Art centers, Museums and Art Fest days. I currently work at the Booth Western Art Museum and am in charge of their Art education outreach programs to the community (Boys and Girls Club, Hands of Christ After School Program, etc.). I teach art to children at the Booth Art Academy in Cartersville throughout the year in our Summer Camps, Home school programs, various Art classes and Scout Programs.

When I have time for my own artwork, I am working with clay, yarn, paint, pencils and camera. I just finished illustrating a children's book called Sam the Seahorse Goes to School, written by Connie Hill Smith. I help out with the PFAA Student Art Show and am the webmaster for our new PFAA website.
