Lara went to Paulding County High School and entered the PFAA Student Art Shows each year and was a recipient of the PFAA Student Scholarship Award. Lara is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a concentration in Graphic Design. Lara and her husband, Matt, live in Cartersville with their sons, Evan and Colin.

Lara is the owner of a graphic design company, Lara J Designs, based in Cartersville. She specializes in logo, website, identity and print design. She has worked on projects for many clients throughout the Northwest Georgia and Atlanta area in many design styles. She also designed this new website for the PFAA.
