21st ANNUAL STUDENT ART SHOW
FEBRUARY 2008
ENTRY RULES
1. Any resident of Paulding County from age 3 through age 18 may submit ONE piece of art work.
2. The artwork must be the
student's original work
and may be in 2 or 3 dimensional media.
3. All 2 dimensional art work must be MATTED, MOUNTED or FRAMED. Any 2-D work not matted or framed will not be accepted. The Art Shop in Dallas (located on Hardy Street across from Dallas Elementary) will mat student artwork for this show at a discounted rate of $3.00 OR $4.00 per mat.
4. A professional judge from outside Paulding County will be selected for the judging.
5. Each student must submit an ENTRY FEE OF $2.00.
6. The artwork entry, entry form, and entry fee must brought, in person to the Fine Arts Center located at 122 Main Street in Dallas GA (across from the Courthouse) between 9am and 12 noon on Saturday, February 2, 2008. Art work (along with entry form and fee) may also be delivered to THE ART SHOP on Hardy Street during the week of January 28-31, 2008. Artwork MUST be presented in person as indicated above.
7. For more information, please call 770 445-4572. Entrants desiring to sell their entered artwork, must price the art.
SET UP:
SATURDAY, February 3rd: 9:00am - 12:00 noon.... Deliver Artwork, Entry form and $2 Fee to The Fine Arts Center located at 122 Main Street in Dallas.
SUNDAY, February 3rd: 2:00pm - 4:00pm .... Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held at the FINE ARTS CENTER - 122 Main Street in Dallas (across from the Courthouse)
EXHIBIT DATES: The student's work will remain on display during the month of February, 2008. Students may pick up their art work on Saturday, March 1st between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Art work which may have been sold can be removed from the exhibit by the purchaser if desired, or may also be picked up on Saturday, March 1st.
Art work not picked up on Saturday March 3rd may be picked up any Tuesday (11:00am - 3:00pm) or Saturday (10:00am - 2:00pm) during the month of March.
PLEASE NOTE:
Art work not picked up by SATURDAY, MARCH 29, 2008, at 2:00pm WILL BE DISPOSED.
