This Juried Fine Art Show is scheduled for October 5 thru 31 2008.
$1200 Total Cash Prizes to be awarded as follows:
BEST OF SHOW: $500
1st PLACE: $300
2nd PLACE: $200
3rd PLACE: $100
2 HONORABLE MENTION AWARDS AT $50 EACH
Additional Awards will be announced

JUROR: Chery Baird

Chery Baird has taught art in the Atlanta area for 25 years. She received her B.A. with honors in art from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana and earned her Masters from Georgia State University. She is an award winning artist whose work is collected by private patrons and displayed in state, city and corporate collections.

Tuesday - September 23, 2008: Drop off Artwork at the Gallery Between 11am and 3pm.
OR
Thursday, September 25, 2008: Drop off Artwork at the Gallery Between 6pm and 9pm.
Friday, Sept. 26, 2008 Juror's selection from artwork received on Sept. 23rd and 25th.
Artist of work not accedpted for the show will be notified to pick up their pieces.
Saturday, September 27, 2008 Rejedted pieces will be picked up at the Gallery between 10am and 3pm.
Sunday, October 5, 2008: Reception and Awards Ceremony at The Fine Arts Gallery between 2:00pm and 5:00pm
November 1, 2008: Pick up art work at the Fine Arts Gallery between 10:00am and 2:00pm

CATEGORIES: Paintings: Watercolor, Tempera, Oil, Acrylic, Polymer, Pastel, Mixed Media (list all materials used) Drawings: Graphite, Colored Pencil, Pen & Ink and Photography.

Paulding Fine Arts Association reserves the right to refuse any works not deemed suitable for the showing.

All pieces are to be framed and ready for hanging with wires. Saw-tooth hangers will NOT be accepted. Gallery wrap canvas is acceptable. Size Limitation is 40 inches wide, including frame. A Triptych must not exceed 40 inches wide in total, including the frame.

ELIGIBILITY: Artitsts must be 18 years of age or older.
All works must be the exhibiting artist's original work and not a reproduction of another artist's work, including photographs.
All work must have been completed within the past 3 years.

ENTRY FEE: $25.00 for up to three (3) slides

SALES OF ARTWORK: Sales will be encouraged but a 25% commision of all sales will be donated to the Paulding Fine Arts Association.

LIABILITY: Although the Paulding Fine Arts Association will take the utmost care, the Paulding Fine Arts Association and the City of Dallas will not assume responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen items. Insurance is the responsibility of the artist. Entrants signature on the entry form indicates agreement with these conditions.
