JUROR:                       Curtis A. Chapman

Forty-one years ago Mr. Chapman established the art department at Reinhardt College in Waleska, Georgia.  He helped to create the Associate and Baccalaureate degree programs and held the longest tenure of any teacher in any field at Reinhardt.  After his 40 years on the faculty, Mr. Chapman is retired but still teaches two days a week at Reinhardt.

CATEGORIES:           Paintings; Watercolor, Tempera, Oil, Acrylic, Polymer, Pastel, Mixed Media (list all materials used), Drawing; Graphite, colored pencil, pen and ink.

Paulding Fine Arts Association reserves the right to refuse any works not deemed suitable for this showing. 

 

All pieces are to framed and ready for hanging with wires. Saw tooth hangers will not be accepted.  Gallery wrap is acceptable.  Size limitation is 40 inches wide, including the frame.  A triptych must not exceed 40 inches wide, in total, including the frame.

 

ELIGIBILITY: Artists must be18 years of age or older.

All works must be the exhibiting artist’s original work and not a reproduction of another artist’s work including photographs.

All work must have been completed within the past 3 years.

 

ENTRY FEE:               $25.00 for up to 3 slides

 

ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS:  Slides are to be labeled as listed below, with a permanent

marker (no tape on the slides).    No glass or metal slides will be accepted.  If you would like your slides returned you must include a self addressed envelope with 2 stamps attached to the envelope.

SALES OF ARTWORK:  Sales will be encouraged but a 25% commission of all sales will be donated to the Paulding Fine Arts Association.

 

LIABILITY:                 Although the Paulding Fine Arts Association will take the utmost care, the Paulding Fine Arts Association and the City of Dallas will not assume responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen items.  Insurance is the responsibility of the artist.  Entrants

                                    signature on the entry form indicates agreement with these

                                    conditions.
