18th ANNUAL FINE ARTS COMPETITION CALL FOR ENTRIES

DELIVERY:  Deliver art works to The Fine Arts Center (122 Main Street in Dallas) on Saturday, April 5 between 9:00am and 11:00am.  Entry form and fees MUST accompany work.  Checks should be made payable to Paulding Fine Arts Association or PFAA.

RECEPTION:  Reception and Awards Presentation will be Sunday, April 6, 2008; 2:00pm-4:00pm.  The public is cordially invited to attend. 

ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must be a resident of Paulding County OR a member of the Paulding Fine Arts Association and be 18 years of age or older.

RULES & FEES:

• All works must be the exhibiting artist's original work and not a reproduction of another artist's work including photographs. 
• Paulding Fine Arts has the right to reject any work due to subject matter.
• Security will be provided. However, the Paulding Fine Arts Association will not be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
• All work must be framed and wired, ready for hanging. (SAW-TOOTH) hangers will not be accepted.
• Gallery wrapped canvases do not need to be framed; however, the sides must be painted.
• Entrants may submit up to (3) works.  The first submission for is $20.00 and $5.00 for each additional piece.
• All work must have been completed within the last two years and not entered in this competition previously.
• The Paulding Fine Arts Association will charge a 25% commission on any works sold during the show.

JUDGES: Three independent, professional judges will be selected to judge the work.
